SFA Benefit – The Songwriters

Poor Davids Pub banner When I put out the call for songwriters who wanted to volunteer to play a benefit for autism, the response was overwhelming. Especially considering they did not even know what charity would benefit. I’m still being contacted by songwriters wanting to get involved. I wanted to let everyone know that this is only the first of the Songwriters For Autism (SFA) events for the Autism Treatment Center. If you would like to be involved in future events, come out and support this one, talk to me, and I will add you to the list.

But for the inaugural SFA benefit, the following is the schedule of the songwriters. Some things needed to be worked out, but the following is the schedule as it stands now. The songwriters will perform in the round, swapping songs. It’s going to be a great show.

1 p.m. – Ireland Casteel, Jaden Faith, Mike Freiley

2 p.m. – Robin Willis, Steven Perry, Baylis Laramore

3 p.m. – Terry Bloss, David Aguirre, Ron Halcomb

4 p.m. – Alan Litt, Ryan Michael Galloway, Mr. Troll

5 p.m. – James M. Taylor, Jeff Stachowski, Layne Elizabeth

6 p.m. – Loralee Pearman, Lynn McCracken, John Mason

8 p.m. – Dan Roark

8:30 p.m. – Zach Coffey

9 p.m. – Tailgate Poets

10 p.m. – Autism Band – PROPELLER

Keep writing the songs that are in your heart.

Peace be with you.
