Robin Willis, Baylis Laramore, and Don Wall took the stage for the second set at the SFA benefit. Robin has a voice that commands attention as well as songs that are worth more than one listen. You can hear her songs on her Facebook music page or on Reverbnation.
Baylis Laramore is a laid back songwriter. Although his appearance is unassuming, his songs are stories that deserve to be heard. One of my favorite songs of Baylis’ is about the 1900 storm in Galveston, called Ghosts of Galveston – which you can find on Reverbnation.
Don Wall is a tv producer as well as a singer-songwriter. His song Corn Bread fared well in the Dallas Songwriter Association‘s lyric and song contests. And – you guessed it – you can hear it on Reverbnation.
Do yourself a favor and check out the music of the artists featured in this post and others here on Songwriters For Autism. You can also buy a Songwriters For Autism bumper sticker to benefit the Autism Treatment Center of Dallas here.
Keep writing the songs that are in your heart.
Peace be with you.
